The Brush Beetdiggers ran past the visiting Fort Morgan Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 39-27 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Beetdiggers face the Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 19. Brush will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 2-3 record after their 50-32 non-league loss to Rangely (Rangely, CO).

With the defeat, Fort Morgan moves to 0-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Severance (Severance, CO) to face the Silver Knights in a 5A/4A Longs Peak game on Thursday, December 21. The Silver Knights enter the game with a record of 2-5. Severance won 59-22 in their recent non-league game against Forge Christian (Arvada, CO)
