Iowa High School Basketball - Caledonia can't hold off Decorah-North Winneshiek
December 16, 2023: Decorah, IA 52101 The Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Caledonia Warriors to 48 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waukon for a Northeast Iowa contest on Tuesday, December 19. Decorah-North Winneshiek will battle a Indians team coming off a 59-34 league loss to Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA). The Indians record now stands at 3-4.
The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chatfield (Chatfield, MN). The Gophers enter the AA Section 1 contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Chatfield was nudged by Triton (Dodge Center, MN), 73-52, in a league contest.
