The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Crested Butte Titans to 39 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kirtland Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Montezuma-Cortez will battle a Broncos team coming off a 56-29 non-league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Broncos record now stands at 7-0.

The Titans (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake City (Lake City, CO). The come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lake City was routed by Cheraw (Cheraw, CO), 58-7, in a non-league contest.
