The Shiprock Chieftains ran past the host Crownpoint Eagles basketball team by a final score of 44-34 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Chieftains face the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 5. Shiprock will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.
