Oregon High School Basketball - Dayton topped by Yamhill-Carlton
December 16, 2023: Dayton, OR 97114 The Yamhill-Carlton Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Dayton Pirates to 41 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cottage Grove for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Yamhill-Carlton will battle a Lions team coming off a 54-11 non-league loss to Stayton (Stayton, OR). The Lions record now stands at 5-3.
The Pirates (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Westside Christian was defeated by Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR), 52-40, in a non-league contest.
