Iowa High School Basketball - Maquoketa crushes Dubuque Senior
December 16, 2023: Dubuque, IA 52001 Maquoketa Cardinals (Maquoketa, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they saw their basketball squad wallop the host Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA), 51-18 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Maquoketa improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, IA) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Bellevue lost 38-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA)
Next up, the Rams confront the Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Dubuque Senior will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 38-31 league loss to Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA).
