The Fortuna Huskies basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Mt. Shasta Bears to 24 in the Huskies non-league victory on Saturday.

The Huskies now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ferndale for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Fortuna will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 41-17 non-league win over Clear Lake (Lakeport, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.

The Bears (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Yreka (Yreka, CA). The Miners come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record.
