December 16, 2023: Flushing, NY 11358 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Holy Cross Knights (Flushing, NY) and the visiting Grand Street Campus Wolves (Brooklyn, NY), saw Holy Cross's basketball squad wallop Grand Street Campus by a tally of 58-29.
With the victory, Holy Cross improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY) to confront the Stanners in a Catholic - Brooklyn/Queens I challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Stanners come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Archbishop Molloy lost 65-57 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, NY)
Next up, the Wolves confront the New Utrecht Utes (Brooklyn, NY) in a PSAL AAAA Brooklyn I challenge, on Monday, December 18. Grand Street Campus will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Utes come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 56-45 league win over Fort Hamilton (Brooklyn, NY).
