Iowa High School Basketball - Gretna East overwhelms Lewis Central
December 16, 2023: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) and the host Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA), saw Gretna East's basketball squad wallop Lewis Central by a tally of 45-20.
With the victory, Gretna East improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Burke (Omaha, NE) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Burke lost 72-46 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE)
Next up, the Titans confront the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Lewis Central will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
