Wisconsin High School Basketball - Hortonville holds off Homestead
December 16, 2023: Hortonville, WI 54944 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hortonville Polar Bears (Hortonville, WI) and the visiting Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI), saw Hortonville's basketball squad hold off Homestead by a tally of 67-64.
With the victory, Hortonville improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Appleton East (Appleton, WI) to confront the Patriots in a Fox Valley challenge on Friday, December 22. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Appleton East lost 93-70 in their recent league challenge against Neenah (Neenah, WI)
Next up, the Highlanders confront the Port Washington Pirates (Port Washington, WI) in a North Shore challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Homestead will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 83-45 league loss to Hartford (Hartford, WI).
