South Dakota High School Basketball - Webster crushes Ipswich
December 16, 2023: Webster, SD 57274 Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD), 51-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Webster upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD) to clash with the Wambdi in a A Region 1 bout on Thursday, December 21. The Wambdi go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Tiospa Zina lost 44-40 in their recent non-league bout against St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Ipswich will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 44-41 non-league win over Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD).
