Illinois High School Basketball - Wauconda fells Marengo
December 16, 2023: Marengo, IL 60152 Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 36-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wauconda upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Crystal Lake Central lost 37-32 in their recent league bout against Hampshire (Hampshire, IL)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Marengo will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 43-29 league win over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL).
