Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) and the visiting Maret Frogs (Washington, DC), saw Virginia Academy's basketball squad hold off Maret by a tally of 44-43.

With the victory, Virginia Academy improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA) to confront the Saints in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
