Tennessee High School Basketball - Oak Ridge crushes Maryville
December 16, 2023: Oak Ridge, TN 37830 Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maryville Red Rebels (Maryville, TN), 64-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oak Ridge upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to clash with the Smoky Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Smoky Bears go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Sevier County won 71-36 in their recent non-league bout against Northview Academy (Kodak, TN)
Next up, the Red Rebels clash with the Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Maryville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC).
