In Saturday's non-league outing, the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) basketball squad beat the host Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA), by a count of 46-35.

The Chiefs (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Northview was topped by South Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 47-39, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to New Manchester for a AAAAAA Region 5 outing on Friday, January 5.
