December 16, 2023: Louisville, KY 40228 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) and the host Mercy Jaguars (Louisville, KY), saw Pulaski County's basketball squad overcome Mercy by a tally of 59-46.
With the victory, Pulaski County improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. John Hardin won 68-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Russellville (Russellville, KY)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Fern Creek Tigers (Louisville, KY) in a District 24 challenge, on Monday, December 18. Mercy will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 57-56 non-league loss to Portland Christian (Louisville, KY).
