Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), 41-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ripley upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Winfield (Winfield, WV) to play the Generals in a Cardinal bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Generals come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Winfield lost 52-46 in their recent league bout against Nitro (Nitro, WV)

Next up, the Panthers play the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. PikeView will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
