Ohio High School Basketball - Sheridan edges Upper Arlington
December 16, 2023: Columbus, OH 43221 The Sheridan Generals (Thornville, OH) basketball nipped the host Upper Arlington Golden Bears (Columbus, OH), 59-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Generals (6-0) will now prepare for their test against River View (Warsaw, OH). The Black Bears go into the Muskingum Valley test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, River View was tipped by Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH), 50-19, in a league test.
The Golden Bears now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Olentangy Liberty for a Ohio Capital - Central test on Friday, December 22. Upper Arlington will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 58-35 non-league win over Thomas Worthington (Worthington, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 4-2.
