South Dakota High School Basketball - Sioux Valley trounces St. Mary
December 16, 2023: Volga, SD 57071 The Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) basketball crushed the visiting St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD), 66-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cossacks (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Beresford (Beresford, SD). The Watchdogs go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Beresford was trounced by Flandreau (Flandreau, SD), 62-37, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host DeSmet for a non-league test on Monday, December 18. St. Mary will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-32 non-league win over Baltic (Baltic, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
