Mississippi High School Basketball - St. Patrick overwhelms Wayne Academy
December 16, 2023: Waynesboro, MS 39367 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) and the host Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS), saw St. Patrick's basketball squad wallop Wayne Academy by a tally of 55-34.
With the victory, St. Patrick improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish host Gautier (Gautier, MS) to play the Gators in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.
Next up, the Jaguars play the Hartfield Academy Hawks (Flowood, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Wayne Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record.
