December 16, 2023: Sunbury, OH 43074 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) and the visiting New Albany Eagles (New Albany, OH), saw Big Walnut's basketball squad hold off New Albany by a tally of 47-41.
With the victory, Big Walnut improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Franklin Heights (Columbus, OH) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lincoln Golden Lions (Gahanna, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. New Albany will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
