Indiana High School Basketball - Centerville nips Rushville
December 16, 2023: Centerville, IN 47330 Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN), 35-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Centerville upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Knightstown (Knightstown, IN) to play the Panthers in a bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Knightstown lost 39-28 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN)
Next up, the Lions play the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Rushville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bruins come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 47-30 non-league loss to Delta (Muncie, IN).
