Virginia High School Basketball - Salem crushes Denbigh
December 16, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23464 Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), 58-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Salem upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Sundevils host First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 1-4. First Colonial won 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Denbigh will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
