Iowa High School Basketball - Bedford bests Southwest Valley
December 16, 2024: Bedford, IA 50833 The Bedford Bulldogs basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Southwest Valley to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Mills for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Bedford will play a team coming off a 70-49 non-league win over Griswold (Griswold, IA). The record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Southwest Valley falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The travel to Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA) to play the Raiders in a Pride of Iowa game on Thursday, December 19. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 5-2. Mount Ayr won 60-37 in their recent league game against Wayne (Corydon, IA)
