Illinois High School Basketball - Belvidere overwhelms Stillman Valley
December 16, 2024: Belvidere, IL 61008 The Belvidere Bucs basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Stillman Valley Cardinals to 48 in the Bucs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bucs now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Rockford Auburn for a Northern Illinois 10 game on Wednesday, December 18. Belvidere will confront a Knights team coming off a 53-50 non-league win over Lindblom (Chicago, IL). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Stillman Valley falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Fenton (Bensenville, IL) to confront the Bison in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Bison go into the game with a record of 4-5. Fenton won 57-46 in their recent league game against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)
