December 16, 2024: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA) and the host Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA), observed Benton's basketball team overwhelm Mt. Pleasant by a margin of 65-29.
The Bobcats (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA). The Vikings come into the WAMAC - West challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Vinton-Shellsburg was trounced by Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA), 53-32, in a league challenge.
