Wisconsin High School Basketball - Cuba City sneaks past New Glarus
December 16, 2024: Cuba City, WI 53807 The Cuba City Cubans basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting New Glarus Glarner Knights to 61 in the Cubans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cubans now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mineral Point for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities game on Thursday, December 19. Cuba City will play a Pointers team coming off a 64-61 league win over Darlington (Darlington, WI). The Pointers record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, New Glarus falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Glarner knights travel to Poynette (Poynette, WI) to play the Pumas in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Pumas go into the game with a record of 3-2. Poynette lost 74-53 in their recent non-league game against Randolph (Randolph, WI)
