December 16, 2024: Emmetsburg, IA 50536 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) and the visiting West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA), observed Emmetsburg's basketball team overwhelm West Hancock by a score of 79-27.
The E'Hawks (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars come into the Twin Lakes challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Valley was routed by Northwest Webster (Manson, IA), 69-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) in a North Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. West Hancock will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 81-49 league loss to Forest City (Forest City, IA).
