The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC) and the host Greenwood Eagles (Greenwood, SC), observed Laurens's basketball team edge Greenwood by a score of 59-54.

The Raiders (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Greenwood will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
