December 16, 2024: Spartanburg, SC 29307 Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), 41-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Catawba Ridge advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Copperheads host Chapin (Chapin, SC) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host T.L. Hanna for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. Spartanburg will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 45-40 non-league win over Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-0.
