December 16, 2024: Aurora, IL 60506 The West Aurora Blackhawks basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Yorkville Foxes to 42 in the Blackhawks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Blackhawks now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Streamwood for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. West Aurora will confront a Sabres team coming off a 46-41 non-league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Sabres record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Yorkville falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 1-0.
