December 16, 2024: Lincoln, MI 48742 Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI), 68-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mio-Au Sable advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI) to face the Braves in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Braves enter the match with a record of 3-1. Tawas Area won 39-23 in their recent non-league match against Hale (Hale, MI)
The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlevoix for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. Alcona will face a Rayders squad coming off a 66-14 non-league loss to Manton (Manton, MI). The Rayders record now stands at 0-4.
