The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs (Dallas Center, IA) basketball were winner over the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA), 65-55 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Newton for a Little Hawkeye bout on Tuesday, December 17. Dallas Center-Grimes will play a Cardinals team coming off a 67-15 non-league win over Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Roosevelt falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA) to play the Polar Bears in a Central Iowa Metro - Metro bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Des Moines North lost 66-6 in their recent non-league bout against Mason City (Mason City, IA)
