Iowa High School Basketball - Iowa Valley holds off GMG
December 16, 2024: Marengo, IA 52301 The Iowa Valley Tigers basketball team scored 35 points and limited the visiting GMG Wolverines to 30 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sigourney for a South Iowa Cedar game on Tuesday, December 17. Iowa Valley will confront a Savages team coming off a 76-45 non-league win over Cardinal (Eldon, IA). The Savages record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, GMG falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Collins-Maxwell-Baxter (Maxwell, IA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 0-0.
