The Quince Orchard Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils to 29 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. Quince Orchard will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 36-31 non-league win over Blair (Silver Spring, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Springbrook falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to confront the Barons in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. The Barons go into the game with a record of 4-0. Bethesda-Chevy Chase won 37-36 in their recent non-league game against Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD)
