The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Loomis Wolves (Loomis, NE) and the visiting Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE), observed Loomis's basketball team overwhelm Maxwell by a margin of 73-41.

The Wolves (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Ansley/Litchfield trounced Axtell (Axtell, NE), 41-28, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 19. Maxwell will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Perkins County (Grant, NE).
