December 16, 2025: Godley, TX 76044 Godley Wildcats (Godley, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX), 47-29 in a non-league contest.
The Wildcats (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Indians go into the 4A Region II District 12 contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Alvarado was topped by Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX), 53-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Fort Worth Country Day Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 19. Glen Rose will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 64-36 non-league loss to Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX).
