North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilson Prep Academy bested by Hoggard
December 16, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28403 Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Wilson Prep Academy Tigers (Wilson, NC), 58-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hoggard advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Cary (Cary, NC) to face the Imps in a non-league match on Thursday, December 18. The Imps enter the match with a record of 2-5. Cary won 54-51 in their recent non-league match against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC)
The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeastern for a non-league match on Monday, January 5.
