The Combs Coyotes basketball team (San Tan Valley, AZ), dropped 61-53 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ)

The Prospectors now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a 4A Black Canyon battle on Tuesday, December 20. Apache Junction will battle a Rams team coming off a 76-67 non-league loss to Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 2-6.

The Coyotes (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ). The Dons come into the 4A Black Canyon battle with a 3-8 record.
