Texas High School Basketball - Royse City tops Anna
December 17, 2021: Royse City, TX 75189 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) and the visiting Anna Coyotes (Anna, TX), saw Royse City's basketball squad knock off Anna by a tally of 74-60.
With the victory, Royse City improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to North Forney (Forney, TX) to play the Falcons in a 5A Region II District 13 challenge on Monday, December 20. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-14. North Forney lost 68-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX)
Next up, the Coyotes play the Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, December 21. Anna will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 62-35 non-league loss to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX).
