Walpole Rebels (Walpole, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), 72-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Walpole upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Rebels host Wellesley (Wellesley, MA) to play the Raiders in a Bay State - Herget bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Wellesley lost 73-64 in their recent league bout against Brookline (Brookline, MA)

Next up, the Wamps play the Quincy Presidents (Quincy, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 27. Braintree will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
