The Poly Parrots basketball team (Fort Worth, TX), was overwhelmed 62-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX)

The Bears now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fossil Ridge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 21. Brewer will confront a Panthers team coming off a 46-43 non-league loss to Bell (Hurst, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 8-7.

The Parrots (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest (Fort Worth, TX). The Raiders come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Southwest was overwhelmed by MacArthur (Irving, TX), 40-34, in a non-league battle.
