Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans (Bushnell, IL), 74-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Midwest Central upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Raiders host Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL) to clash with the Heat in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 8. The Heat go into the bout with a record of 1-11.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 20. Bushnell-Prairie City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Blue Bullets go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 48-47 non-league win over Quest Charter Academy (Peoria, IL).
