The Ferris Yellowjackets basketball team (Ferris, TX), dropped 66-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX)

The Cadets now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairfield for a non-league battle on Monday, December 20. Connally will confront a Eagles team coming off a 71-41 league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.

The Yellowjackets (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Godley (Godley, TX). The Wildcats come into the 4A Region II District 11 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Godley beat Keene (Keene, TX), 63-57, in a non-league battle.
