December 17, 2021: Iola, TX 77861 In Friday's non-league outing, the Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX), by a margin of 72-44.
The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chavez (Houston, TX). The Lobos go into the non-league outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Chavez was trounced by Bellaire (Bellaire, TX), 88-27, in a league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host C.H. Yoe for a 3A Region III District 19 match on Tuesday, December 21. Rockdale will meet a Yoemen team coming off a 78-70 non-league loss to Salado (Salado, TX). The Yoemen record now stands at 10-4.
