Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Noble Knights (Berwick, ME), 70-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Thornton Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME) to play the Scots in a AA South bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Scots come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Bonny Eagle won 46-38 in their recent league bout against Scarborough (Scarborough, ME)

Next up, the Knights play the Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) in a AA South bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Noble will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 66-34 league loss to South Portland (South Portland, ME).
