Oregon High School Basketball - Valley Catholic can't hold off Riverdale
December 17, 2021: Beaverton, OR 97007 The Riverdale Mavericks basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Valley Catholic Valiants to 42 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mavericks now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vernonia for a non-league contest on Monday, December 20. Riverdale will battle a Loggers team coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR). The Loggers record now stands at 2-6.
The Valiants (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Black Hills (Tumwater, WA). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Black Hills was nudged by Bremerton (Bremerton, WA), 67-52, in a non-league contest.
