December 17, 2021: Wynnewood, OK 73098 Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team get by the host Wynnewood Savages (Wynnewood, OK), 42-38 in a non-league battle.
The Comets now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 4.
The Savages (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Oklahoma Christian Academy (Edmond, OK). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Oklahoma Christian Academy was nudged by Silo (Silo, OK), 46-35, in a non-league battle.
