Illinois High School Basketball - Andrew nips Evergreen Park
December 17, 2021: Evergreen Park, IL 60805 Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL), 39-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Andrew upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts host Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Plainfield North won 73-67 in their recent league bout against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 18. Evergreen Park will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 56-26 non-league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL).
