Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC) and the host Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC), saw South Wake's basketball squad wallop Franklin Academy by a tally of 61-12.

With the victory, South Wake improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC) to confront the Colts in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 18. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Crossroads Christian lost 57-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Forest (Wake Forest, NC)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Neuse Christian Academy Lions (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 18. Franklin Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 46-26 non-league win over Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC).
